Eve has been in the cake decorating business for a while now!

Eve began her interest in cake decorating at her grandparents' shop- The Delishus Cake Shop - in the 1980s as a child. She assisted in preparation of goods for sale, and learnt a lot under the direction of her grandparents, German immigrants with exceptional culinary skills!

In 1988, Eve worked as a cake decorator in her mother's shop - Celebrations Plus - eventually specialising in Wedding Cakes. Celebrations Plus later became The Cake Decorating Shop, continuing as a family-run business. During peak periods of this business, Eve would produce in excess of 100 Wedding Cakes per year, as well as hundreds of special occasion cakes.

In 2005, Eve's mother retired from the business, and Eve had a break from cake decorating to raise her two children. She returned in 2007 as Cakes by Eve - producing tailor made cakes from her custom-built, Council approved home kitchen.
